Terms and Conditions
Quotes
For quotes, please contact Horizon at orders@horizonsales.com or connect with any of our sales representatives. We strive to ensure the accuracy of all quotations; however, we reserve the right to correct any errors that arise.
Shipping
Orders for in-stock materials placed by 2:00 PM EST will be fulfilled and shipped the same day whenever possible. Shipping costs vary based on the size of your order. We take every reasonable step to pack and ship materials safely and cost-effectively. Orders are shipped FOB point Brighton, Michigan or origin unless otherwise specified or agreed upon.
Carriers
We have daily pickups with UPS and FedEx. We can make arrangements with any major LTL carrier when shipping Freight Collect.
Cold Shipping Materials
Some materials, such as solder paste, require temperature control during shipment and Horizon will take all necessary precautions to maintain the cold chain throughout the transportation process. We will package the materials in accordance with industry standards to ensure temperature stability during transportation and will ship the materials in a time frame that is within acceptable manufacturer standards.
Hazardous Materials
Orders containing material deemed hazardous by the U.S. Department of Transportation require special attention and will incur increased costs. Please contact us for more information.
Claims or Damaged Shipments
Please inspect packages promptly upon receipt. If any damage is found, contact the carrier immediately to initiate a claim. In most cases, the recipient assumes responsibility for the freight once it leaves its point of origin. However, we will make every reasonable effort to assist you in filing a claim or locating materials.
Returns and Exchanges
Please contact us immediately if you wish to request a return or exchange. Certain materials may not be eligible for return, including but not limited to: temperature sensitive items, materials with limited shelf-life, and hazardous materials. Returns may be subject to a restocking fee.
Material Certification and Warranties
All warranties for goods sold by Horizon Industrial Systems, Inc. are manufacturers warranties unless otherwise noted or specified. Certificates of Conformance to Shelf Life are available at no charge for applicable items. Manufacturer’s certificates of Conformance and/or Analysis may also be available for select products. Please submit your request for certificates at the time of order.
Pricing
Market Based Pricing
All metal-based products are subject to market-based pricing. It is our intention to limit the frequency of cost fluctuations; however, costs for these products are subject to daily changes.
Minimum Order Pricing
Certain materials may have minimum order quantities as required by the manufacturer.
Custom Order Products
Some custom materials may be subject to quantity overage or underage based on manufacturer terms. Certain materials may also be non-cancellable and non-returnable. When applicable, these terms will be clearly stated on any provided quotations. By placing a purchase order based on such quotation, you accept these conditions.
Units of Measure
All bar and wire solders are priced and sold by the pound, with bar solder requiring a minimum order of 25 lbs. All other products are sold per unit as specified in their respective descriptions.
Credit Terms
Net 30 Day Terms may be extended to customers upon approval. Please contact us to apply for credit terms. Three trade references and a bank reference are required. Please allow a minimum of one week to process.
Limitation of Liability
Horizon Industrial Systems, Inc., and its representatives and employees shall not be held liable for any claims related to incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits resulting from the manufacture, delivery, or use of any product we offer. Additionally, it is essential that all products purchased from Horizon Industrial Systems, Inc. are stored, maintained, and used according to the specifications of the manufacturer.
